Our local micro pub for Lancing. No tv or background music. Live bands occasionally typically Sundays. Pop in for some real ales or cider or lager or wine or spirits.....and a natter.
A micopub with mega atmosphere! On this particular evening, we were celebrating a friends birthday, and they had a brilliant live band. We will be back!
Proper ale & cider pub. Excellent choice of local brewers. In a nice and quiet spot, inside & out. Highly recommended
Cons: expensive. Pros: literally everything you want in a real pub. Not only a great selection of craft beers, but also an owner who knows and cares about what he sells. A lively, friendly atmosphere, where other pubgoers will engage with you. Basically a house party with awesome drinks. This place is a little jewel hidden in a tiny corner of a little town.
Friendly, comfortable pub with interesting photo's and artifacts serving very very good ale. Why only four stars? Too many five star reviews which should reflect 'cannot be improved' in my opinion. No business should stop trying to improve and it doesn't appear the Stanley will.
