Always enjoy a meal here and today did not disappoint again, had the doubled up roast lamb and was absolutely delicious. Food came out quickly and the staff were very attentive. Very reasonably priced too
Amazing roast, staff are really friendly and helpful. I had the roast beef and sticky toffee pudding. Beef was soft and tasty and a decent sized portion of meat too. Vegetables were tasty, only issue is for 4 adults and two kids, two portions veg and cauliflower cheese felt a little light. But wasn't a major problem. Kids roast and food was tasty and plenty of variety to choose from
Have lived in the area a while but only found this gem a few months ago. Lots of parking, very beautiful, cosy pub. Bathroom facilities are kept clean and tidy. We've had several meals here and haven't been let down once, everything's been delicious!! I love the fish pie in particular but you can't really go wrong, the specials are always brilliant. Staff are all wonderful, professional and attentive. Even when the restaurants busy we have never been made to feel rushed.
A great find. Booked online and added we were bringing a dog. After a friendly welcome we were shown to a table near the fire with our own dog water bowl and treats. The food was great and the choice varied and it was all delivered quickly and with great service and with consideration for allergy guests. Great to see a number of tables occupied mid-week too, confirming this is a place to return to. Good car parking and the garden arrangement looked good too, although we were there in the cold evening so couldn't have considered. Many thanks!
Wonderful little country pub with a warm welcome. Loads of outdoor seating with awnings for cover, usual Sunday roasts with a massive Yorkie on top. Also another menu if you're not into the Sunday thing, definitely recommend the Greets inn if you're free for a leisurely lunch.
