Booked the room upstairs for our sons 2nd birthday, Darren was very accommodating when we had to cancel last minute and re book the following week due to COVID. We'd arranged for a small buffet and the upstairs bar to be open for 40/50 people, unfortunately due to technical issues the bar couldn't be opened but the service downstairs was great and Darren compensated us with additional food and drinks. The room does need a bit of redecoration but after some balloons and so on were hung it was perfect for us. We'd definitely book it again due to the great service and welcoming attitude we received from the staff, they were all absolutely fantastic and couldn't have asked for more.
What a great pub with amazing friendly staff and great atmosphere. We had a great time here on new years eve and they had some great live music. Everyone was having a great time and the band was rockin! Will definitely be back again for more live music.
A really nice pub with a comfortable atmosphere. The team are all lovely, happy to help and friendly, and the food too! We often came to have a lunch with a family and never regret. There is a car park if you need. Recommend this pub.
Attended a surprise party held upstairs on Saturday night - all staff were very friendly & helpful both before the party, allowing us in early to decorate the room and at the end of the evening to secure everything .. sorry the balloons set off your alarm 🙊 … great size room with bar .. can’t comment on food - but will be back soon to sample the menu - Many thanks Dorsey Arms EG
Lunch time stop off. The barman wad a lovely guy. Very chatty and nice. The nachos were great. It was quiet over a Saturday lunch time. But had a nice relaxing atmosphere. The garden is a terrace over looking a car park. But seems to have lots of entertainment on and has a pool table!
