We're a lucky bunch here at The Lamb; we have access to the most brilliant ingredients the South of England has to offer, we're nestled in one of the most stunning locations in the Country and we've got staff who absolutely love what they do.
We've gone from strength to strength since we took over a few years back and we hope to continue this trend backed up with brilliant beer and delightful food. Whether it's a quick bite after a long day at the Beach or a hearty meal by our fireside in Winter, the Lamb Inn is the place to be.
We have a great car park to fill up with your windbreaks and surfboards, kids and dogs are both welcome, we've got a lovely beer garden and a little playground to boot!
We love using local produce in our kitchen, from our Nutbourne Tomatoes, Selsey Crab and our catch of the day specials.

Cosy, warm and welcoming with a friendly Land Lady, large outside seating area and huge carpark. We have not eaten here but judging by the smells from the kitchen, its good grub! The roaring fire is a treat on these cold winter evenings and absolutely adds to the relaxed and charming atmosphere this pub has.
Still needs work - We have been visiting the Witterings for years now and have had a few meals in the lamb inn. The decor is good and cosy, as you would expect from a local pub. Although there's effort in the menu descriptions, more needs to be done with the taste of the food, if we are totally honest. Missing in flavour, the end result is lacklustre at best, yet the prices are above average. With drink and food, four adults and two kids we didn't seem much change out of £200. Plus we couldn't understand why they use sardines instead of prawns, never heard of tempura sardines before? Piri Piri chicken was just grilled chicken, must be cost cutting! We understand that costs have risen but wouldn't have expected the taste to drop at the same time either. Again maybe cost cutting? That said the staff are attentive and friendly, as with the benefit of allowing well behaved dogs too, which is helpful for our pooch. Time will tell but hopefully we will experience a tasty meal one day, if we decide to return....2/5
Been here a couple of times with my grandparents and I can only suggest good things. The staff are warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is friendly and comforting. The main attraction of the food also lives up to standard and is of an excellent quality! It didn't take long for the food to arrive as it was fairly quiet on both days but I can assure you the burger I had one time I visited was succulent and moist. The chips were crispy and crunchy alongside a good burger slaw as well. Overall a great time.
Best roast dinner in the whole area! Loads of choice on Sunday. I went for the lamb. There was plenty of food and cooked perfectly. It does get very busy so book ahead, at about 1215 it was getting pretty full. Outside is first come first served however. Will come back soon.
The lamb was a real beautiful place. It had the correct mixture of classic dishes and then something more a bit magical like my seafood risotto. I loved that the area for kids was equally as beautiful as the adult 'play' area. The decor was stunning. Ideal for private events. Was like a home but in a pub. I will most definitely be coming back when I can have a cocktail or two 🥳🌟🍾
