Lovely experience, even made a special dish to accommodate my fussy daughter. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Good honest food.
Very good to see this pub back up and running lovely staff brilliant Land lady. Very welcoming will most definitely be coming back great food and lovely to see them so welcoming with the kids and the dog all I can say is thank you and see you soon
Menu was very limited for a Friday evening. The Garlic bread starter was two slices of toasted white sliced bread with garlic butter!! The main course took over a hour to serve. The pub did not seem too busy. The fish and chip main meal was okay but very salty which is not to my taste. The food did not look like the posted reviews. I have since noted the most positive reviews are 5 years ago!! I would not recommend this pub. P.S. the final bill also included £20 for medium glass of Merlot red wine. The menu price for a bottle. !!
This pubs is one of my favourites in the area the staff in this establishment are really what make it great. Bar staff are always friendly and easy to talk to, the chefs do a fantastic job and it shows in the food they put out. I have been a few times for their carvery as well as different meals and have never been disappointed. The beer on tap Gem is a lovely pint. Parking is a bit small but the road down the side of the pub has plenty of parking. It's safe to say I will continue returning to this pub for many more meals and pints.
Truly delicious and presented superbly. The staff are lovely, efficient, smiley, helpful, friendly and certainly made us feel right at home and welcome. The food was delicious, very salty, which suited me, but not the others. Highly recommend dining here, just ask chef to hold the salt.
