We ate out on Christmas Day for the first time ever due to a family bereavement and had a wonderful experience. All staff were exemplarily and the food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend as long as nothing changes :) Thank you for making a sad Christmas that little bit more normal and welcoming!
The staff were very accommodating at this pub which had a great atmosphere, though they were having a crisis with a plumbing fault on Saturday evening when we went. Despite this, they were accommodating, and told us the issue would be resolved quickly...and it didn't ruin the evening for our large party (12). Thanks to the team!
A nice place to visit, polite staff and our meals and deserts were also nice. The tables were clean, menus tidy and the atmosphere was nice too. We have pre-booked for a group of us on new years day 2023, let's hope that the meal is just as nice again, if not better.
We organised an 80th get together for my sister in law at The Bell 30 people . ADAM the manger was great everything we booked was great Dan barman / waiter excellent Stacey the chef did amazing work food excellent .the rest of staff were great.couldnt fault the food and service 5 star review ...nothing was to much trouble. Even to the point of Adam creating a play list for my sister in law (who is a massive Bruce Springsteen fan ) she was really happy I would highly recommend The Bell and all the staff thank you oh and the price was very good as well 10/10 Barbara and Mick Sweeney xx
At the suggestion of my son who has dined here before, we made a reservation for Sunday and had excellent service. The Sunday roast was possibly one of the best I’ve had eating out for a while and I was pleasantly surprised at what I felt was excellent value. 3 adults and a child and we had between us 3 starters, 3 mains, 1 child main, 4 desserts and 6 drinks (all non alcoholic) all for under £80.00. Car registration required and plenty of parking. I can see why so popular and would personally highly recommend.
