Oh wow! What a waste of time and money. Efficient drink service was about as good as it got. My youngest is a fussy eater so only wanted the kids sausages and Yorkie from the menu. They were dried up and burnt. Looked like they had sat there from lunch time. I literally snapped one of them in half and handed it back to the carving chef. He replaced them but they were all the same. I had to ask him to get more stuffing as that was all in fine bits and massive clumps of rock hard burnt bits. (Another customer came back to get fresh stuffing too) the carrots were a mix of orange and black, the peas were mixed in with old ones that looked like they had been left there all day too with hard wrinkled up skins. The waitress came to ask if she could clear the table whilst two of us were still eating. It was very dark where we sat so couldn’t really see what we were eating. Hats off to the Yorkshire pudding maker though, these were good but that was about it. Very disappointing experience.
We visited this location on the 29th of Jan for the evening meal, and it was reasonably busy, while waiting in the queue people around us were being very impatient and rude to staff. When we had our turn at the carvery, the man who was serving (unfortunately didn't catch his name) was working incredibly hard bringing out fresh food and also cutting meat and plating, and even with all the negative comments made by other people he was incredibly polite and cheerful making sure everyone was ok. He was doing a fantastic job. Our server, Alison D, was also incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed even though it was busy, both made this meal a very enjoyable experience and props to all staff there for their hard work!!
MY FIRST AND LAST BREAKFAST HERE !! On arrival we were not greeted with the warm welcome you expect when someone wants people eat at these places. First mistake I decided to upgrade the coffee to a latte tasteless at best warm milk! Second mistake “all you can eat breakfast” the best part of this was the toast. All the hot breakfast food was out ready for us to help ourselves unfortunately nothing had a lid on so was already drying out under the heat lamps, without exaggerating too much you could have broken a window with one of the hash browns . The price for two breakfast and an upgraded latte was just over £18 so not very expensive But what you save in the pocket they cut in the quality!!
Tasted amazing, would eat the entire meal again. Very positive atmosphere, my favourite place to come for a meal always get so excited. Great service aswell straight away helping and checking on us.
Super-yummy and tasty Sunday Roast! 🤤 Lovely - one - waitress, and very affordable - that's all from positives. Minuses? Person who welcomed us didn't turned up to take the order for next 30min. Not really good attitude of kitchen staff too. Overall really good, family style eatery but need a bit better management.
