Took my mother to afternoon lunch and was surprised how easy it was to make an order, using the scan code at the table. The menu was comprehensive and easy to use and ordering was very simple. The waitress was very polite and friendly. The food was good and the portions were reasonable. Ordering drinks using the scan code at the table was great too. The establishment have been very welcoming and the vibe of the place is excellent. Highly recommended place to eat and relax.
Brilliant local pub, friendly staff, been coming for years and never had a bad meal or a complaint to make, would definitley recommend . The dog also approves!
Another fantastic experience at this pub. I wanted a table reserved big enough to accommodate 2 large wheelchairs for people with disabilities. This was done with no hassle and plenty of room. The food was excellent and so fresh and hot. Couldn’t fault it. The service was so good that I asked for the young lads name as he was so polite and the service he gave to us was of a very high standard. Thank you Joe for being our host and making sure we were ok and got everything we needed.
Just had posh fish and chips, more like greasy batter and a few chips. Within the bloated batter there could’ve only been 3 fish fingers in total. The bread and butter was ok but that’s hard to get wrong. I went to the toilet and my last 3rd of a pint disappeared.
Beautiful 1950s pub. Fantastic restaurant, with juicy Spanish chicken and very good fries. Toilets were also cleaned regularly. Would come here again!
