Lovely welcome as we arrived. Taken to our table and had the menu/ordering process explained. Once ordered the food arrived promptly. It was well presented and cooked. During our meal we were asked if everything was ok and could they get us anything to which we ordered another drink which was brought over to us. After eating the table was cleared fairly quickly. Nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect.
First time coming here, looks lovely. Food was very tasty and at reasonable prices. Pay at the bar when you order so no waiting around for a bill once you've finished which is good
Food was great and big portion sizes, food was very tasty, i was so full i couldn't breathe! Lol. Venue is clean and service was brill has a large garden area for kids to play, lovely location. Would defo return.
Brought the crew here for some pub grub as I had heard it was good. Plenty of parking and there was space enough inside for all. Orders are placed at the bar and even though it didn't look overly busy the food took a little time to come out. Now the good news is that there is a fair bit of vegetarian options to choose from. So we went all out on the veggie options. All in all the food was pretty average. The pasta was so over cooked it was almost mushie. No one had anything to rave about yet it was all edible. Nachos where a personal disappointment to me, as I love a good portion of nachos! The staff where polite enough but not friendly. All in all, can't knock it, can't recommend it, an average experience. But that's just mine, hope you have a better one!
A lovely pub serving up the classics to an excellent standard. We enjoyed it all, but the stars of the show were the chicken burger and the mac & cheese. The chicken gravy that comes with the burger was so good that when we visited again we asked for 2 portions. We’ve visited another pub in the chain loads because it’s opposite work, but the execution of the menu here is a million times better. Compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The staff were so lovely and the place is really inviting. There’s a great play area for the kids too. We had 2 mains, 2 starters/small plates and 2 large soft drinks for just under £50.
