Come in Burns week was disappointing the mash potato was bland no flavour. The haggis small with not alot of taste. We have been before for Burns night portions was alot bigger than this year 2024. Very disappointing
Nice & warm as always. was disappointed as we went Saturday & Sunday & both times had hardly any choices of coffee left in the two machines? Had to have decaf. The food is very different than it used to be too, small portions but cost more money. Mean with the butter 🧈 which barely covered my toast. I will visit on occasion but it's just too expensive for very little quantities now. Shame.
Visited with my parents on Sunday 29th October at 12pm. The pub was already very very busy, I just about found a table for the 3 of us. Despite this, the staff still delivered a fantastic service, I ordered drinks from the table, these were bought to us quickly. We ordered our food and that also came in very good time. We really enjoyed the food, it was really hot and fresh. The staff made sure we enjoyed our meals, which we did very much. Thank you to the hard working staff team.
It was a treat to visit this place. Although it reminded me of several waiting rooms. The staff were very welcoming and dealt with a lot of average chat from the punters. I had scampi and chips, straight up, the best scampi and chips I've had in years...granted, I've not eaten scampi and chips in years, but it was d3cent, especially for the price, and a drink as well. No parking meant we had a little stroll to get their though. Win!
Absolutely fabulous, friendly & with great locals what is there not to like thanks to Jordan / Tyler and the rest of the staff for always making my visit here a happy one
