Bathams have become a family born to brew, with the sixth generation now involved in creating and serving a legendary beer of the Black Country.
Bathams Bitter, regarded by some as one of the finest in the country, would never have been if it was not for the pernickety tastebuds of pub regulars in a quiet Worcestershire village, and the brewing skills of Mr D.B.A (Arthur) Batham.
Popped in here while waiting for car, what a lovely welcoming pub!!! Staff and other customers so friendly and welcoming and cobs were fab!!! Will definitely go in again. Was also spotless clean and comfortable just lovely👍
A good traditional Black Country pub with a lovely pint (or two) of Bathams. I went to the Lamp for their live Blues music club a god intimate venue room with a bar. I can't comment upon the food as that wasn't the purpose of my visit. Nice friendly staff.
Lovely pub. The interior is really well preserved, with period fittings and classic mid-20th century (I guess) furniture. Beautiful widows too. The welcome was so friendly and the beer was, as you expect, sensational.
The place is fabulous. Many memories from there as I had some wonderful years playing football for them. I went up there this afternoon after work for a quick beer. The staff where very friendly and welcoming. I then went outside to the seated area where you have some wonderful views of Dudley, Rowley and the surrounding area's. Definitely recommend it for a few beers.
Our first visit here. Nice well kept old fashioned pub. Staff were friendly and welcoming great selection of beers.
