Very accommodating, friendly and relaxed pub and great place to eat. We had a dilemma beforehand and the staff kept the table open for us. The menu has a range of dishes and there is a specials board too. We had a fabulous evening.

Relaxing lunch at a welcoming pub. I had the sweet chilli salmon with new potatoes and veg. Can have chips instead. Friendly staff with a varied music track and important to me, not too loud so you can talk without shouting. Husband enjoyed his chicken and leek l pue. Both meals freshly cooked so there's a little wait. Drinks served straightaway. Been a few times over the years and it hasn't disappointed.

Generous portions of food. Had the Camembert sharing starter which came with more bread than you could shake a French stick at, and the steak and ale pie for mains. Good service and reasonably priced.

Had heard good reports about this place and they are all true. The food was excellent and great value for money. First time we have been here and it won't be our last top marks to the chef and all the staff 👍
