Had a great afternoon in there, very friendly local pub if only I lived closer, good food, good Duke box and friendly staff
Don't bother, it smells, it's dirty, the bar staff stand at the end of the bar eating but they only serve food when they feel like it and then get stroppy when you complain that you called to book and check they were serving and they said yes! Useless, I'm surprised they are still open with the lack of care about customers, another pub on its way to closing due to arrogance.
Great pub. Nice and busy on a Friday night. Hosted a funeral wake, upstairs in a lovely sized function room with upstairs bar and toilet. Excellent catering, more than enough. Lovely accommodating staff, would definitely recommend.
Came here for a meal with my kids. My daughter is coeliac so needs gluten free. The staff member who served us was brilliant. I usually end up getting given a non gluten containing menu which is all adult meals with adult prices but the staff member took me to the kiosk/till and showed me which of the children's menu were gluten free and my daughter could chose. It was so nice to be able to give her a choice and buy a meal that was the right portion size and price for a 6 year old. Also the children's meals come with pudding so we usually have to buy her one separate because her brother gets one with the kids meal. It was great service and will definitely be coming back
Brilliant waitress service, spent £50 on a round however after going to the toilet and the cubical door being open I missed to see the out of order sign. I flushed the toilet and was greeted with the owner who grabbed me by my kneck and quite literally threw me out the pub. I would not recommend to anyone at all.
