An absolute gem, very cosy with roaring fires, and the beer selection is top-notch. Spot on for a proper relaxed pint. Ample non alcoholic offering too for the designated driver!
Proper pub. Always a great selection of well kept ales. Quick attentive service. Good pub grub. Open fires. No children (which is a bonus) - best of all they always have Old Peculier on. Which makes me think I shall nip in today, just to check. Reading the negative reviews those people simply went to the wrong pub. This a real ale drinkers' paradise.
The Griffin is simply a fine, traditional, old fashioned country pub. Great beer, fine bar snacks and bags of atmosphere. I can't vouch for the food as I've never eaten there, but I've heard good things. Well worth traveling to, wherever you live. Note, it's adults only. Not the place for children
A proper pub. Great selection of real ale, lots of seating outside and a large grassy area. A selection of reasonably priced sandwiches. Lovely warm fires and atmosphere in the winter. Always busy and friendly.
Had A run to the Griffin with the local scooter group🛵🛵🛵🛵great old pub! As I remember it from years gone by.good atmosphere inside & out. Loval Morris dancers outside did a good performance! Good beer 🍻🍺🍻 outside bar. Did'nt eat but good food served. Good prices, certainly will pay a return visit soon. Give it a try, you will not be dissapointed😁
