Went here Friday, the vibe was great. I managed to loose my phone and the young woman at the bar was very lovely and it had been handed in and I got it back! Great staff, thanks!

Friday 15th Dec, 22:30. Hardly busy, yet got turned away by security for wearing dark blue jogging bottoms. Despite smart jacket. Took my money to Missing where I was let in without any problems!

Sound like a broken record with these reviews but the bouncers need to sort themselves out. Amazing inside but the door staff are so discriminative and make so many assumptions about people (ironic??) I am a bisexual woman of colour but was told my friends and I couldn’t come in for no reason other than ‘regulars only’ even though we’d been in literally the night before? The only difference was that we had one male with us (who has also been there before) Makes zero sense.

Visited with friends for Pride. Easily the least welcoming of all the bars in the village. Rude bar staff with very bad attitude who took exception to us pointing out who was next to be served. Just an awful atmosphere. Gave it a second chance later with a mixed party of us. All respectful and in good Pride spirits. Overpowered door staff allowed all our party in except my partner, with no reasons given other than a bark to the rest of us, when we challenged his decision, 'in or out'. So, it was out! We took out custom elsewhere and upon reflection worked out this venue lost out on about £500 from our custom. Their loss. Speak with your feet guys. There's much better places in the village that this venue.

Arian Starfield
The Village - Friday Experienced singer, songwriter and looper of pedals. Picture upbeat through easy-listening, obscure to slightly-less-obscure chart hits from way back when. . . The songs that make you go 'hey, I remember that one!' before we all get the words wrong when the chorus comes around! Whether you're looking for endless energy or a romantic background atmosphere, a seasoned performer & a carefree stage presence ALWAYS ends in good reviews. None of this reading lyrics & chords from an iPad & no backing tracks. If I know it I'll play it and if I don't know it we'll give it a go anyway! If you're still not sold, let's go with my favourite recent comparison: A friend in the industry recently described me as John Mayer meets John Butler. If that's a reference that doesn't go above your head you should probably book me x

Funk & Soul Sundays Growing up in church is where I fell in love with music and musical instruments. I learned how to play the piano from 5 year's of age and would play the keyboard in church. My passion for music extended to song writing and background singing which led me to meet Stock and Aitken and appear in a channel 4 documentary searching for a star. As a teen I watched my brothers messing around with vinyl and became obssessed with collecting music and trying to mix. Over the years I had music producer's and DJ'S encourage me to become a DJ due to my musical ear. This is when DJ tinyP was born in 2019. My Dj career has taken me overseas in which I met 90s rnb artist Horace Brown. I performed at Sunshine Anderson concert. One of my live sets caught the eye of Kenny Whitehead from rnb duo Whitehead Bros to which I have built a musical working relationship with. I have performed at various venues - Digbeth Dining, Lava (Tenerife), Magic (Tenerife) Sixes Cricket Club, Sweet Rnb Night's, Lab 11, Hare and Hounds, NQ64, Manahatta, Crazy Pedro's, Zellig Custard Factory just to name a few.

Cloudy Galvez
Friday Night Live Cloudy is an up-and-coming London artist pioneering the introduction of a new sound: progressive soul with a touch of pop. Whether accompanied by drums and bass, or solo, Cloudy delivers one thing that other artists don't: the non-stop set. The songs flow from one to the other through beautiful improvised transitional sections, allowing the music to breathe and do the talking for itself. It truly is a captivating continuous mix of original material, packed with push-and-pull, catchy hooks and beautiful melodies inspired by her Colombian heritage, designed to catch your attention and stay in your head for days. Cloudy's music is influenced by Jacob Collier, Tom Misch, John Mayer, The Skints and KT Tunstall, and has received attention from Rolling Stone India, BBC Introducing London, All Star FM, The Huffington Post, GIGsoup, Music of the Future, Pure Magazine and Vents Magazine so far. She has performed nationwide supporting Dodgy, The Hoosiers and Toploader during the Foodies Festival national tour. However, she is also active in her local community, performing at numerous London venues including Omeara, Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, Notting Hill Arts Club and The Garage, and it was at one of these shows that she was scouted for a songwriting scholarship at Berklee College of Music. She is now signed with Talent Banq, a brand new live agency with an ethos she shares: music is about collaboration, not competition. Cloudy is proudly endorsed by G7th Capos.
