Went here Friday, the vibe was great. I managed to loose my phone and the young woman at the bar was very lovely and it had been handed in and I got it back! Great staff, thanks!

Friday 15th Dec, 22:30. Hardly busy, yet got turned away by security for wearing dark blue jogging bottoms. Despite smart jacket. Took my money to Missing where I was let in without any problems!

Sound like a broken record with these reviews but the bouncers need to sort themselves out. Amazing inside but the door staff are so discriminative and make so many assumptions about people (ironic??) I am a bisexual woman of colour but was told my friends and I couldn’t come in for no reason other than ‘regulars only’ even though we’d been in literally the night before? The only difference was that we had one male with us (who has also been there before) Makes zero sense.

Visited with friends for Pride. Easily the least welcoming of all the bars in the village. Rude bar staff with very bad attitude who took exception to us pointing out who was next to be served. Just an awful atmosphere. Gave it a second chance later with a mixed party of us. All respectful and in good Pride spirits. Overpowered door staff allowed all our party in except my partner, with no reasons given other than a bark to the rest of us, when we challenged his decision, 'in or out'. So, it was out! We took out custom elsewhere and upon reflection worked out this venue lost out on about £500 from our custom. Their loss. Speak with your feet guys. There's much better places in the village that this venue.

Sam Jenkins
Saturdays at The Village Hi! I’m Sam Jenkins. I’m a singer and guitarist from Manchester. I’ve been playing in and around Manchester for over ten years and know how to work a crowd. I play a wide range of music from indie and rock to pop, soul and R&B. I can adapt my set to any venue or event, be it a chilled out brunch, a romantic wedding breakfast, or a raucous pub or festival. I can curate a set list from hundreds of songs to suit. I regularly gig with well established covers bands such as Truly Medley Deeply and tribute acts such as Kopycat Killers and Sham Fender. I have my own PA if needed, so get in touch to book today!

Arian Starfield
The Village - Friday Experienced singer, songwriter and looper of pedals. Picture upbeat through easy-listening, obscure to slightly-less-obscure chart hits that make you go 'hey, I remember that one!' before we all get the words wrong when the chorus comes around! Endless energy meets a carefree stage presence that ALWAYS ends in good reviews. None of this reading lyrics & chords from an iPad & no backing tracks. If I know it I'll play it and if I don't know it we'll give it a go anyway! If you're still not sold, let's go with my favourite recent comparison: A friend in the industry recently described me as John Mayer meets Jan Ackerman. If that's a reference that doesn't go above your head you should probably book me x

Paris Adams
Saturdays at The Village Whilst Paris made her live debut as a solo artist on the Caitlyn Smith tour in October 2022, she is a seasoned performer. Formally part of The Adelaides, she played at BST Hyde Park two years running as support to Michael Buble (2018) and Celine Dion (2019). The Adelaides, who sadly fell victim to the enforced hiatus over Covid, had even received an unprecedented invitation to perform a repeat slot at CMA Fest in Nashville in 2020, having already appeared in 2019.
