About us

The craft beer revolution has taken us to many places, and we’re proud to have thundered open the doors of BrewDog Birmingham in 2012. Hooking up the drinkers of the West Midlands to a steady stream of Grade A quality craft beer is the very reason those doors are unbolted each day.

Reigning over this great city's former industrial heartland like a temple of nonconformity, BrewDog Birmingham is a master of reality with exposed metal girders and hundreds of rare, unique and downright awesome craft beers from around the world.

Come on in and turn it up to 11.

First time eating here and had a good time. There’s a nice selection of burgers on the menu, though they ran out of the chicken ones that I wanted to try but it’s ok - I tried jackpot (beef patty with chorizo, black pudding, gorgonzola and some sweet glaze that I can’t quite remember) instead, which did not disappoint. Considering this is a beer place first and a food place second, the food was truly not bad. The burgers we had were lovely with interesting flavour combinations. I particularly liked the soft burgers buns. The fries were also perfectly crispy. Definitely a big shoutout to the chef! Staff were also friendly, helpful and the right level of attentive. Overall, an enjoyable Friday evening treat. Only two caveats. 1) Appreciate inflation and commerciality but I usually get a bit salty about places that gets you to pay for fries separately. However, these burgers were stuffed with good and interesting ingredients so it definitely took away the sting for me (mostly). 2) Maybe it’s just me being a wuss but the place felt pretty cold as the evening drawn on. I struggled to get warm but it could be due to the fact that most of my blood went to my tummy after a large meal.

Tried the Wednesday wings deal, all you can eat for £12. It was ok going once but probably wouldn’t do it again. Took a while to get a seat when we first entered, then took even longer to get served our first plate of wings. You get a choice of only two flavours. The wings are dipped in breadcrumbs so becomes filling quite quickly. Service was really slow around 8pm but did improve later as it became less busy. The staff did recognise this however and did wipe the cost of our drinks from the bill so saved about £20.

I’ve been here twice for the bottomless brunch, both times the food was great. Service could be a bit quicker but it is busy. Highly recommend.

The location is convenient and close to the train station. There are several items on the menu are out of stock! Besides, the tips shouldn’t be inquired during the ordering process, because if I hadn’t received the service/drink/food, I really shouldn’t pay in advance.

Decent Brewdog. Nice layout with some useful charging points and quick wifi. Perfect for a quick stop if heading for the train station. Hazy Jane Guava is always a delicious pint
