Had a lovely meal at Toby Carvery. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Fred was super lovely, friendly, helpful and kind. She’s a true asset to the team! Thank you so much Fred! Xx
Was tempted in by a 50% off voucher. 1st time here for the Carvery. 4 meats on offer (all delicious) and great selection of well cooked vegetables. Will definitely be returning soon, even at the normal price it's great value.
When we arrived it was a lunch time. The carvery was busy but still only had to wait a couple of mins to be shown to a Table. The lady was really nice and seemed happy. We went up to the deck. Everything looked fresh. Make sure you try the roast potatoes both types are great. Toilets were not the best but however passable.
First visit to this Toby and one of the best from any. Most Toby’s the glassware is so-so. At Hall Green, they were shining. You never expect much at a Toby so it is the little things that matter. Server was great although service overall could have been better but it’s Toby’s what’s the rush? The server couldn’t have been better. Lovely lady! Selection of food was okay and meat was cooked superbly. Yorkshire puddings where MASSIVE. Enjoyed it all. Perfect trip to Toby’s.
Marie, was our waitress who was so attentive and very knowledgeable about allergens. My daughter has allergies and couldn't have anything off the dessert menu now that sorbet has been remove but Marie went above and beyond to make sure my daughter could have some fruit and chocolate sauce. She was friendly and bubbly and really made our visit special. We will definitely return because of that. The food was wonderful too, a really good selection of sides, we all loved it.
