Sherborne Wharf has taken over the ‘Fiddle & Bone’ pub. It is situated on Birmingham’s Sheepcote Street and alongside the canal.
Our aim is to be one of the City’s finest gastro pubs! With delicious home cooked food, quality real ales and selected wines. Live music and entertainment will breathe life back into this iconic waterside building for City Dwellers and Boaters alike.
With delicious food, quality ales and fantastic wines, our focus we hope to have something for everyone. Our seasonal menus will include bar snacks, home-cooked pub classics, full English and continental breakfasts, Sunday roasts and a private dining and function menu. Now also to include our new Tapas menu.
All bars will offer real ales, specialist bottled beers, premium spirits, fine wines, champagne and sparkling wines and a selection of quality cocktails.

Had travelled from the South coast to watch a gig at the arena and called in on the off chance we could get something to eat before the show. We were brilliantly looked after by the Manager and staff who squeezed us in despite being fully booked. The food and wine were fantastic. This is the second year running we've been to a show and the distillery have looked after us on both occasions. Many thanks again to Sam and his team.
Can't give an honest review as we've been invited here for our company's Christmas party having buffet dinner (and I am not sure if this is served here on a regular basis or not). The food was more like a nibbling stuff (or cheap fast food) rather then a proper buffet style (not sure what the company paid for, so can't base my review on this, but I believe was around £35/person). Haven't seen the real distillery (as we were based on the ground floor and the distillery/bar on the basement). However, the staff were all amazing, helpful, and welcoming. They were clearing up quite often and checking upon us. The atmosphere was warm and cosy. The entrance should be though more clear as we had to go around the building a few times until we realised which one was the actual entrance.
My partner and I wanted to enjoy a Sunday roast yesterday and found this place. We ordered a lamb roast and some cheeseburger spring rolls and they were amazing. The lamb was the best I've ever had, very tender and would melt in my mouth! The guy who served us was also really polite and helpful and the food arrived within minutes of us ordering. 10/10 experience overall, would definitely come back!
A really great find for lunch. Booked in advance too. The roasts were delicious and well balanced too. The chicken was very well cooked and the lamb , was melt in the mouth . Service was by far some of the best I have had in Birmingham. Friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent gin too!
Situated next to the roundhouse. Friendly staff,good selection of drinks on offer. We ordered lunch which we ate in the courtyard as it was a beautiful day. Served quickly,was nice and hot and wonderfully tasty. Fairly priced. Fantastic place to people watch. Highly recommended.
