About us

We are committed to using only the finest ingredients and have a serious obsession with the provenance and quality of our beef. We only serve British beef from Limousin, Hereford and Longhorn cattle. Aged for a minimum 28 days in our bespoke ageing room, each one is hand cut by our in-house butcher and our chefs cook them over hot charcoal and wood burning grills.

We love our wine and cocktails too. We are passionate about providing guests with a drinks list full of discovery and popular wine styles alongside classic cocktails, researched and tasted by our own mixologists and wine experts.

Been here many times over the years and especially in the past few months, and I’ve never been disappointed. Our waiter was great really made an effort to interact even thought it was a busy Wednesday. We used the 50% on food for this visit so we were more adventurous with what we choose from the menu. Everything was on point and we didn’t leave a bite. Price of the drinks is the only thing I would pick about as I’m in the trade and know the mark up but it’s the price you pay these days when going out in a large city for the evening. Im certainty looking forward to my next visit (Pictures are from my last two visits)

The hostess was super helpful and kind. The food was fantastic, steak cooked and seasoned to perfection. The sides were a little luke warm for my liking but that is the only critique. Drinks were quite tasty as well.

Bank isn’t what it used to be at all. The service was trash from entering the restaurant. No escort to the table, given vague directions & left to wander around. The amount of times we had to ask for service for our drinks and starters was ridiculous. Granted, it was over the Christmas period so they were busy. Music was loud and hard to have conversations. They also went back-and-forth with us about not bringing our mains and starters together as we could see they were running behind. So i asked for them to bring it all out for us. The Manager ARGUED about having that conversation which we did which then resulted in having to wait a long time for our mains which was an hour. They said they do not bring out starters and mains as that’s not their policy which wasn’t conveyed to us in the first place. There was other things that were very eye opening to us. I wouldn’t want to get the other staff in any problems as they where only voicing there issues, which we over heard whilst they where at our table. (This further validated our complaints). The food was nice but it just wasn’t the dining experience we had anticipated. Birmingham has so many more options than this for the price & service or lack there of! The staff & management need to be retrained in my opinion 1/10

Definitely not all that. Overall it was good but you're definitely paying more for the interior design than the food. The staff was nice and quick to help though. The music was surprisingly loud, could not hear people sitting next to me. The souffle and Bailey's espresso were tasty, I could've had 3 more of each but they were both tiny. My main was the angus beef burger. My partner has made better burgers at home so it was definitely a disappointment, not that flavorful or memorable coming from such a restaurant. The ketchup they gave me also tasted cheap and artificial. There are better restaurants around worth the price more than this one.

We were attending a show at the arena and hadn't booked anything so when we saw The Bank we thought we like the look of there let's try it The welcome was very warm and friendly and made us feel comfortable. Our waiter was polite, professional and attentive, extremely good. The food was delicious, excellent, cooked to perfection. I had the Korean lamb chops and my wife the souvlaki, which we enjoyed very much. I had the vanilla cheesecake and my wife the Pavlova, again delicious and I'd go as far to say the cheesecake was one of the best I've eaten and I'm a sucker for cheesecake. Can't rate this place high enough, all staff were excellent, friendly and polite. Well done.
