At the Saltire you’ll find a variety of great value pub favourites on the menu, plus our favourite steaks, meat combos and burgers.

Our amazing range of beef steaks are our speciality and are matured for 35 days, seasoned with salt, cracked black pepper and oil before being flame-grilled just the way you like them.

All of our steaks are served on a hot iron skillet to keep your meal hotter for longer and sizzling all the way to your table.

If you dare, take on our Flaming Food Challenges like the Flaming Challenge Burger, the gigantic 32oz ‘Bulls Head’ Steak or the scorching Hot Hot Hot! Challenge. If you defeat the meat we’ll put your name and photo on our “Wall of Flame”.

All our food comes with a Flaming Guarantee, if you don’t love it, we’ll replace it! What’s more, our great value pricing on a range of fantastic beers and wines and special food nights across the week mean there is always a reason to visit your local Flaming Grill in Livingston.

Danielle, the woman that served us was fantastic. My 4 yr old loved her and she made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and there’s a great choice. I definitely recommend it.

A cheap and cheerful local. One side is the restaurant and the other is a sports bar with TVs and a pool table. Guinness tasted a bit odd and wasn’t poured properly. However, Tenants was an easy compromise :) Not a lot of seating in the bar area. Especially not for vertically challenged people. Then again, we did visit during a football match. Perhaps the seating and atmosphere would have been better another time.

It was my first time at The Saltire, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. The food is brilliant, and the atmosphere is simply amazing. My first visit was an incredible experience. Highly recommended! 🤩😋👌🏻

10/10 would recommend We celebrated my mums 70th birthday at the Satire livingston last night. Service was impeccable. Everything ran so smoothly. We did the private dining experience and it was amazing. Danielle and the team went above and beyond to help us set up and create a beautiful relaxed environment. A class. Could do enough for us. In the evening Shannon, Barrie and the kitchen team were the same. Could not be more helpful. Would highly recommend for all things food, drinks, atmosphere and function related. Didn't even get photos of the food it was polished that quick. We all had the best time. Service was impeccable and timing and food quality was top notch. 10/10 would saltire again. Thank you everyone for helping us create a fabulous night for my mums birthday. One to be remembered. We will be back.
