£9.98 all you can eat breakfast is an excellent offer as it includes unlimited hot drinks. Food served is freshly cooked. Service is quick and, staff are respectful and friendly.
Very disappointed with our visit last night. I hadn’t been to the Beefeater for some time. I took my friend out for her birthday. We both had fish and chips, the batter was too thick for the fish. The fish was tasty once the batter was taken off. We both had desserts which were only just acceptable but overpriced. The staff were miserable and seemed to struggle to smile. The best customer service was when we were leaving. Claire wished us a Merry Christmas. I certainly won’t be rushing back.
I was here on a business trip, the Beefeater was at the side of the Premier Inn. Had to wait a while before being seated, most tables seemed to have one person on a four seater table, probably not ideal for the place. Service was OK, not the fastest but staff are pleasant enough. The Calamari starter I had was very good, and I enjoyed my main, smothered chicken. Definitely more of a work/stay eat place rather than somewhere you'd take the family. Not much happening in the pub really, nothing to keep you here for further drinks after eating. For a business trip it was absolutely fine and I did enjoy the food, and would certainly visit again, although my food allowance pushes me in that direction!
We stayed for one night as its only about 6 miles from Edinburgh Airport. The price was really good. Got the mixed grill for dinner and it was nice and tasty, the nachos not so much. Over all the hotel was comfortable but could do with an update. I would stay again as its convenient for the airport. Yes there are closer hotels, but are much more expensive.
Ate at the beefeater in the evening and again the morning after while staying in the Premier Inn next door. The restaurant is super clean and the staff very pleasant. Food was good (standard menu stuff). Nothing was out of stock and service was very quick. A nice beefeater.
