So friendly, really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. A pleasure to stay at. Some of the best black pudding I've ever had with the breakfast. Wish I had been there more than one night

Good hotel spread over a few buildings. They have put in a lot of details and work around the grounds. Plenty of free parking. The size of the rooms are good with the walls freshly painted. Bathrooms are good but might need replacing in a few years. Not much around but it must be the best hotel in Livingston.

Been here a few times, location okay, as between Glasgow and Edinburgh but you need transport. Rooms in original House very elegant, rooms in extension are lovely too. Food is excellent. Unfortunately I was there for a Funeral tea. The food, quantity, service and room were suitable for the occasion. But £3.25 for a 330ml can of Coke!!

This was the second time that we had stayed here. We enjoyed our stay on each occasion. Beautiful old buildings, possibly listed buildings, have been sympathetically adapted for hospitality, and it's wonderful that the houses have been preserved and maintained to good standard , Garden and surrounding grounds add to the ambiance of hotel . Staff were friendly and helpful as well as providing excellent service 👌 👍. Nothing was too much trouble for them .

Very convenient place to stay if flying out in the morning from Edinburgh Airport. There is free parking in the lot. We did have to maneuver quite a number of steps to get to our room, which was #71, located in a back building. We were on the second floor, and our window overlooked a tree. The room was quite large, and came with a sofa and table on one end. There was also a king sized bed and a desk. The bathroom was relatively modern, although there was mold in the shower along the tub. That could be easily remedied by the cleaning staff. The room key is needs to be placed in a slot to have electricity. Otherwise, the place was very quiet and the room was quite comfortable. We did just stay overnight, and left very early in the morning for our flight. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant. But I would suggest booking ahead as seating seemed to be limited in comparison to the number of rooms in the hotel.
