...an independent, family-friendly pizza pub perched high upon the hillside just 2 mins walk from Brighton station.
The West Hill Tavern has been lovingly restored by Ben and Heather Pistor and is a proper local boozer with a family at the helm. With traditional pub pantones, a blend of old and new furniture, and plenty of charm, The Westie is a super cosy home-from-home - creating a beautiful neighbourhood pub with ‘the Cheers factor’ - a place where everybody knows your name.
Home to the Cosmic Pizza Co. Tuesday to Saturday evening they serve up a small but perfectly formed menu of classic pizzas with a twist, and on Saturday from 11.30am - 3pm the 'Let's Get Pizza'd' bottomless brunch features brunch-inspired toppings (including shakshuka, avocado, mushrooms, eggs and bacon) and ‘flow til-you-go’ seasonal mimosas, prosecco or frozen slushy Bloody Marys. But no pub is complete without a Sunday roast and they offer one of the best in town!
You can wet your whistle with a selection of Cask Marque certified local ales from S.I.B.A (Society of Independent Breweries), over 20 gins from around the world, glug-able wines, craft beers, not so crafty beers, and a bloody good Bloody Mary.
Plus, there is something for everyone when in comes to a carefully curated programme of events with quiz nights, piano bingo, DJ's, Jazz Thursdays, live bands, open mic nights, a traditional meat raffle, and national and international anniversary celebrations.
Bring your friends, bring your dog, bring your family...bring the GOOD TIMES!.

With the sort of friendly, laid-back feel more usually found in an old-school locals’ boozer, the Shakespeare’s Head is a gem of a pub situated just off the Seven Dials. Boasting three outside areas, this is a lively yet cosy venue.
