Went to this pub after a very lovely Walk nearby. Had a great time chatting to staff. Food was top notch as far a Pub Food is concerned, and considering how busy everything was and how everything was freshly cooked , it was sent out in a very timely fashion indeed. Value for money was second to none. It just a shame we never had any cash to leave a tip.. Ah well.... There's always next time, as we'll definitely be back! 👍
Amazing! They were extremely busy and rushed off their feet but still managed to deliver an excellent service with delicious food. Definitely cooking here again!
Had a lovely meal here. Very reasonably priced to the point where we believed they were undercharging for some items. The restaurant side is clean and tidy but lacks a little atmosphere and was a little on the cold side, but not uncomfortable. Toilets could use some TLC. Staff were superb, very friendly and chatty. We will definitely be back.
The Christmas Dinner we had this year was fantastic there was so much we saved some for boxing day we were still full we recommend it to all well done to you all again if your doing Xmas Dinner again next year our names will certainly be on the list thanks again Sara Ken and Susan xxxxx
A really nice pub - they cook the food on site so are able to modify some of the dishes to accomodate food allergies. The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. It's right along side a lovely foot path through a RSPB bird reserve and surrounding countryside.
