Lovely Sunday carvery. Food was hot & tasty. Staff were friendly. Cosy atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch from beginning to end. Dog friendly too ! Thankyou !
Well worth a visit. Good selection of meals including specials and steak night ( 2 steaks+bottle of wine £35.) Well kept real ale with guest beers Wadsworth 4x on our visit.
This is a little gem. Delicious homemade food and a lovely country style atmosphere. I had the carvery on a Friday which was excellent. Very reasonable prices too. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely pub in Ipplepen my Auntie kath and Uncle Pete are regularly in there as they live in the village and said it was the best Sunday carvery. It didn't disappoint we was given plenty of meat and a excellent selection on vegetables. The desserts are to die for also. Will definitely go again when we are down in Devon next.
2022: Home made chips disappeared and frozen with skins on have appeared on our plates. 🤨 Everything else same great standard All the staff friendly and helpful as always 👍 Pre-covid: Expensive, but you very much get what you pay for. The food is exceptionally good and huge portions. The staff are always happy, welcoming and polite.
