About us

The Wellington is centrally located in Seaford, close to the sea and makes an excellent base for exploring East Sussex. ** Please note: The Wellington does not have its own car park, but there are however 2 car parks located close by and street parking right outside ** The town of Seaford is a quiet seaside resort in East Sussex, U. K. It is located on the foot of the South Downs, a range of hills stretching from Winchester to Eastbourne. For many, the main attraction in Seaford is the beach. This has an obvious attraction in the summer, when the sea reaches temperatures up to 20 degrees Celsius.

Had a good lunch . Reasonable prices. Good service. Parking can be an issue. We managed to park just outside the pub.

Just stopped for a drink. Very warm and cosy unfortunately the atmosphere was spoilt by the lady on the table next to us vaping and screeching loudly.

We were a family of six adults staying in Seaford for one night to attend a large family gathering close by. How fortunate to have chosen to stay at The Wellington. On a wet and miserable weekend it was a sheer joy to be shown our accommodation with the heating on in each room, a lovely clean kitchen, including teas, coffee and biscuits. Bedrooms were generous in size and again spotlessly clean. The following morning we all enjoyed a superb full English breakfast. We would not hesitate to return to this establishment. Thank you so much and sending our best wishes to you and your staff.

Decent hotel in Seaford. We booked this for a wedding and the bride and groom were here. The room we got had lovely sea views and was clean. The breakfast was very good. It is a little bit out of town but definitely walkable.

Stopped in for drinks and a meal after the long Seven Sisters hike and it was the perfect place to relax and refuel. The staff was attentive, the space was comfy, and the chicken sandwich was very tasty! Not only was it a double chicken sandwich but the sauce and bacon as well really added to it.
