Returned to St Just after seeing crab soup on the special's board at The Wellington. It was just perfect for lunch and far better than anything on offer at Lands End.
A really fabulous evening meal! They were spot on with Gluten free options and their specials menu is amazing. Well worth a visit! Thank you for your excellent service!!
Beautiful location, right in the square at St. Just. The Lady behind the Bar was friendly, helpful and professional. The Clientele were also very friendly and we had a good laugh with them. The food was also good…Crab Rarebit was good, personally I would have liked a bit more of a pronounced Crab flavour but it was still good. The BBQ Pork was also good…Not real BBQ but still good.
Friendly Staff. But less than average Rooms. Bathrooms are bad. Even there are mould on ceiling and water dripping from it. Entrance through the pub. Definitely not for Family, Especially If you are with kids. Not sure how this is rated as 3 star Hotel.
This is a review of the bar, not the hotel. Despite being in a quant little village, this has a real dodgy council estate vibe to it, with unwelcome piped music and a pool table. There were two ales on at the time of my visit, both from the nearby St Austell brewery. Given how good other nearby pubs are, this would not be my first choice of places to go to. I admit I've not tried the food here.
