The pub was nicely decorated for Christmas. Food was mostly great bar the garlic bread. Very generous portions. Staff were not very cheerful or chatty and could be a bit more engaging and enter into the Christmas spirit.
We're driving past and thought we'd stop in for a drink to break the journey, inspired to stop by the name alone and it was aptly named. We felt welcome ended up eating and the food was delicious and well priced. Loved the music too. Very nice atmosphere.
Lovely pub with views out towards Dartmoor. Good menu, lovely food and generous portions. When we visited they also offered a 'lighter lunch' option, with two courses at a very reasonable price. We will definitely visit again.
Amazing food! The most generous portions, and a varied menu, perfectly prepared and presented by the cheerful and efficient staff. Great value for money, and highly recommended!
The staff were all amazing, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic with lots of choice, all served hot and all homemade. We are definitely planning a return visit, I can't praise this wonderful venue enough.
