Went for evening meal. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great food lots of choice and gluten free meals. Also not overly expensive. Would recommend.
We stayed locally and we wanted to stop for some food. Great quality food with large food portions. About average prices. Friendly staff who were very accommodating for our golden retriever. Would visit again.
Just got back home from the weary Frier if could give more than 5stars would do waitress service never had better. The food cooked to how you like it . I had steak so tender wife's had lasagne couldn't nothing eat it all friend had fish and chips loved the fish batter crispy. Nothing over priced will be returning
Our first visit back to The Weary Friar was a pleasant surprise. It's much better now than it was 5 or so years ago. Great food and super friendly staff. Best Sunday lunch we've had in years.
Lovely lunch. Our children were made to feel very welcome and special. Excellent fish and chips, and one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've ever had. Thank you!
