Weekend away for a wedding. Staff were great. Breakfast good. Rooms did the job.
It's out of the way to the centre of the town. It's also part of the charm.i had a lovely meal of gammon and pineapple which was done to my liking and standards, I would definitely recommend this place.
Room was very small, booked twin bed and they gave double bed instead. Staff was friendly. Location was good. Parked outside hotel they provide parking badge with no extra fees. 5 stars for that.
Booked for one night, but enjoyed it so much we stayed for twos. All staff were excellent and very friendly. We had not only breakfast but lunch on one day and evening meal on the second. Great choice and tremendous value and quality. We shall be returning at some point in the future.
Stayed here a few times now and always had a decent stay. We were upgraded to a newly refurbished suite and although it was a climb it was worth it. The room is beautiful, the shower was fantastic and the bed so comfy and warm. Breakfast at the waverley is always tasty and we really enjoy it in the lovely setting of the function room. The staff especially the manageress are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, she even found me some personal items when an emergency arose. Will definitely be staying again the future.
