Just had the most delicious meal at the World’s Best Pub. Family owned and run. Friendly, homely feel traditional English Pub “with a twist” Creamy Garlic Chilli Prawns, Bacon and Cheese Burger and delicious Goats Cheese Salad were outstanding
We had our Christmas Dinner here, food was amazing as always. Sandra, Mark and their team were very attentive and made sure our dietary requirements were met. We've eaten here as a couple and with family/friends on numerous occasions and have never had a bad meal. I can personally recommend the Durban curry, the mini bunny chow and the roast dinners. My husband says their mac and cheese is the best he's ever had.
Went for a Sunday roast, turned up 10 minutes late and still accommodating. This place is known for the best roast in Watford. Waiters were lovely. Had a child roast dinner and was definitely more than enough for an adult portion. The veg was slightly cold and could have done with more crispier/flavour. Yorkshire puddings and Meat was delicious. Drinks were nice. Overall well priced and decent roast dinner, not the best roast dinner I’ve had. Parking was very difficult in this area as we are not from London!
An excellent curry with a South African twist. Great menu, again with a twist on the normal pub food. Definitely worth a visit and make sure you have something to eat. We will go back next time we have business in the area.
Simply delicious. Couldn't fault the food! Huge, tasty, well cooked and very fine cuts of meat. This is the pork, the lamb and the beef. Roast of course. Lovely staff, warm and friendly atmosphere. The whole restaurant sang my mum happy birthday without prompt 😄 She was so delighted. 4 stars only because the restaurant room is a bit noisy (wooden floor). And they need to sharpen their knives so you can enjoy your meal without quite so much effort. Idea already passed on! We will be back. Loved it 😍
