A lovely pub, nicely decorated and inviting. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed it both times. Good food, reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, welcoming and work hard. It is a popular place and always busy. We had a nice area reserved for a relatives birthday meal.
Delicious food and excellent service from a very friendly and welcoming team. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. We went on a Friday night, and the place was very busy - I don't know if it may be a bit quieter earlier in the week, but next time I'll be sure to book in advance as tables were a bit scarce, which is testament to how good the place is.
Lovely pub, lots of outside covered areas with heating, food was great, excellent service dog friendly too🐕🦺!The scenery is great right on the canal, with canal barges and a family of 9 swans, highly recommend
Excellent dog friendly pub. Great food, excellent service, friendly stay. Nice lovely atmosphere. Would definitely visit again if ever in the area again. We stopped here for a late lunch, nice quick service. Great use and decoration of the outside area 👍🏻😊
Lovely venue - absolutely gorgeous at night with the exterior lights. Service was perfect- polite and professional. I had the prawns and calamari for starters, which was well cooked. I did have the lamb for my main - which was rather chewy, and the vegetables weren't cooked to my liking - hence the 4 stars. Dessert went down like a treat - the bread and butter pudding is to die for. Would we go back? Yes!
