Middle of winter and sat by an exit door..why would you put a table so close to a door that is used for entry/exit smokers etc?? Table dirty… food was cold..has to be-reheated.. no taste very average!!! Empty glasses left on tables when we had ordered new drinks… lack of staff … toilets absolutely disgusting!!! Won’t be coming back… not your usual green king standard
Came here on a Sunday for a roast, was asked at front of house if we had booked(we hadn’t - didn’t know we could) within a few minutes was taken to a table. Food arrived fairly quick, workers were friendly and the food was delicious. Would come again.
Really nice pub, lovely staff and good food! Fish and chips were really good!
Order the award winning steak and ale pie. Someone forgot to put the steak in. They do have some very good deals but any extras are very pricey. Great service from the girls let down by poor quality product.
Came last night for dinner. They were busy but still good service. The man behind the bar, Jake, was so pleasant and helpful with our party. Jessica (I think maybe a manager) was really nice too and very helpful when we made a slight mistake with our order. They both are really a credit to your team and definitely made our experience. We will definitely return :) reasonably priced and also has a lovely view near the river!
