Officially the UK's 'only bar on the beach', The Watering Hole is an iconic cornish bar, restaurant and Live Music venue on Perranporth Beach, Cornwall.
A spot that is a must see attraction on this fine island down south of our country, ‘when you go, you will never leave’. We are found in the middle of Cornwall’s finest beach on the west coast, with a 3 mile stretch of sand shadowed by dunes and sea as far as the eye can go, with Holywell on our right shoulder and St Agnes on our left.
Great location, great selection of cakes and beers. Slightly humourless staff that didn't seem interested but it is the off season. The food was AMAZING. I had the Loaded Steak Fries (£12) and worth every penny. Not your standard bar fare, genuinely good steak and great portions.
Fantastic bar on the beach. Serves a huge selection of drinks including Rattler and Jubel lager. Cosy atmosphere inside and fantastic beach views outside.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G A proper beach bar, dig your toes in the sand, watch the sunset over the sea and enjoy a nice drink. Food is also very good. Dog friendly. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. Completely relaxed place. Can't wait to go back.
This pub is in a fantastic location right on Perranporth beach. This gives amazing views and plenty of opportunity to watch surfers. Wide selection of drinks and food. I had a small portion of fish and chips which was delicious. Really fresh fish. No parking on site.
This is the most incredible place for a bar, it felt like being abroad with stunning views and being on the beach ment we could really enjoy it while the kids play! Personally I didn't enjoy the food I got a hot dog which had a really weird taste to it and my son hated his burger but someone had fish and chips next to us that looked much nicer! It's a bit more on the expensive side aswell as you have to order things like chips separate to burgers and hotdogs etc! The atmosphere was brilliant I'd recommend it as a bar to everyone can imagine when there is events on its fantastic! Esp on a sunny day! It's decorated really nice inside but it's definatley all about outside here for us!
