A nice friendly place to have a drink, bar staff friendly and the pub has been done up lovely. I've not eaten here yet, but I've only heard good things about the food. The new landlord has got rid of all the nuisance customers that used to make the place uncomfortable for people to have a quiet drink, so would highly recommend.
Prices are very reasonable. Staff are very friendly and courteous. But it lacks the football screening. It only has one TV. So unfortunately me and freinds will be going somewhere else tomorrow.
Full fit bar with bar food, pool table television in every room big seating area although full of kids swearing, shouting bar staff are nice although the place probably was nice when refurbished I was lucky to of just gone for one drink, music blasting unable to speak let alone think. Once a traditional bar changed by teenagers.
Unfortunately, the gig my band had booked here was cancelled on the night due to a last minute change in management. We were not notified of this in advance and subsequently lost out on our fee.
Wouldnt even give it 1 star. Drank in there for 6 years, refused to get served. Ran out of change and beer on nye... landlords are a joke. Broadoak is worth the £1 extra a pint compaired to this embaressment. Get out the staff walking out was the highlight of my night. Bring back adam and tim xx
