My room was cold and there was no hot water for the first night of my stay. There was not much sound proofing between rooms, so I was kept awake by talking, radio/TVs and slamming doors from the other rooms until late into the night. There was a function happening on the second night of my stay, so there was no food available and there was a lot of shouting and music until the early hours. None of the lamps worked. The staff were nice, but the maintenance is somewhat lacking. Sorry… probably won’t use this hotel again in future.
A nice hotel with pleasant staff. Well kept rooms and lovely facilities, my only complaint if that is right word, some staff do not understand what gluten free food is twice I was given food that contained gluten and for someone with celiacs that would make me extremely ill. The manager however is lovely and most accommodating.
Staff and service are second to none. I have only used the restaurant and always found the service and food second to none. Large portions piping hot and simply fantastic. This is a great venue for a special occasion or just a Sunday lunch.
I went twice in one week over the summer and at lunch time the man with dark hair was an excellent host, his attentiveness and level of service was second to none without being overbearing. The service in the evening wasn't the same energy but it wasn't bad service, just not as exceptional as the lunch time. The food on both occasions was really lovely, the carnivor sharing board was amazing. They say one board between two people but there is SO much food. We shared two boards between 5 people and there were still leftovers. The price point was great as was the restaurant decor, very good value for money, especially given the quality of the food.
Brilliant small hotel. Very clean, staff couldn’t be more helpful, great facilities including indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi etc. Lovely breakfast. Many thanks to Kayleigh for such amazing service this morning at breakfast time. My only concern was how thin were the walls, could hear what people next door were talking about. Otherwise all was great and we’ve had a great time!
