Had a great birthday party here. Mandy and Jack went the extra mile to accommodate us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were excellent in every way.
We were staying elsewhere but decided to go here for an evening meal and we’re not disappointed, the couple that run the place are extremely friendly and can’t do enough for the customers, the food although traditional pub food was of good quality and the portions huge !! Lovely old building in a nice setting, would recommend The college arms
This pub is set in a nice part of the world. It has recently changed hands, so please, ignore the past reviews. The staff are super friendly and willing to meet your needs. The draught beer is really tasty and there is a fair selection to choose from. The food is traditional English Pub grub and is very tasty. My only critique, is the menu is bit, and only a but, limited in choice. However, it is worth a visit and you will not be disappointed in the quality of the food on offer and the ambience of this lovely pub that is under new management.
Fantastic attractive village pub on the green, ample parking, great atmosphere, good food and good beer! Rooms were sufficient and well kept, though at 6ft 3 had to watch the exposed beams, but managed for 2 nights and enjoyed the place. Will be back!
I couldn't recommend more this Inn to stay and to eat! Me and my friend stayed one night and the room was very cozy and nice, and despite being upstairs of the pub it was very quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice, recommended us places nearby to go! Also they served us an amazing English Breakfast plus they also offered cereals, toasts, oats, drinks etc for breakfast. We'll definitely come back, very nice experience.
