Popped in for an evening pint while staying in the area. Very quiet, in fact we were the only customers for the time we wrre there. Very much set up as what I would call a foodie pub but we were made to feel welcome. Friendly lady behind the bar and good beers. Modern and clean interior.
Beautiful setting, quiet and cosy. Clean and tidy. Sunday roasts - plenty of choice and kids sizes were also available. Tender meat and plenty of food. Dog friendly but not noticeably. Staff seemed happy to be there!
Fortunately my cousin only lives a couple of miles from here. The food is lovely, a proper pub and the staff are so nice. We will be back for more. I had a steak and Guinness pie and it was delicious. The veggies were wonderful. If I had had any room dessert would have been taken
Popped in on the way past, staff was friendly, and the meals were excellent. Price was good for both food and drink lovely outside sitting area on the hilltop. I definitely recommend
Excellent pub in an excellent setting. Average prices, good food. Fish and chips- fish is well cooked with a good batter, chips are spot on. Club sandwich- well put together and enjoyable. The views when sat outside are a delight. Worth visiting for the vista alone.
