After visiting Leamington for the first time, we made our way to the Copper Pot. Just a typical day with quite some travelling already. But my word, the pints were served beautifully and the food equally so! James, who served us most frequently ought to be commended for his kindness and splendid jokes. If you ever get the chance to meet James, ask him to do that juggling trick he does with the shots - an unbelievably good service and if we’re back in Leamington I’ll be coming back.
James Clark made this visit to Copper Pot an incredibly special one! One of the friendliest and helpful hospitality workers I have encountered in my lifetime. He was very understanding about my visual impairment and helped me order the best-poured beer I have had in a long time. We will certainly be back!
Went for birthday brunch with my parents, was very quick service from Abbie, food was amazing would definitely go back 🤍
Copper pot is a bit hit and miss. On game day it is a vibe, atmospheres cracking, pints flowing, but on a normal day it’s quite empty and you’re better off going somewhere else. One thing that isn’t that desirable, is that they stop serving food extremely early. Say on certain days that I’ve been I haven’t been able to get food after 6pm. Another massive problem, was that I ordered wings once and they were genuinely frozen. Imagine a wing that looks cooked and is hot. I bit into it and it was frozen to the bone. Absolutely horrendous, went back to them to be like what the hell. I essentially believe they reheated them and gave them back, no fresh wings, not a real apology or money back or even something complimentary. This is probably the worst experience for food I’ve ever had anywhere. You can’t serve frozen wings to someone and not try to make amends to a customer. Regardless, good on its day, staff are a pleasure to deal with, watch out for food and enjoy. Just a bad experience once doesn’t mean every time.
Wow… this was a lovely find!!! My wife and I went to Leamington for the afternoon to do a bit of shopping and was trying to find somewhere for lunch. Tried a few places but ended up at the Copper Pot. This was such a lovely pub. The football was on but was actually had a really nice atmosphere. The service was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Then the food came, which took us by surprise. We had the sharing plates and everything was amazing, but especially the Karaage Sticky Chicken… I could eat these all the time… the portions were really good and the price was amazing for the food we got. I can’t recommend this place enough and we will be going back when we go back to Leamington!!!!
