Called by off chance as have said we should try it. Very much a local. Very noisy. Not for us as my wife was the only female. So bad language was in use a lot. Won't go again.
Fantastic pub with great side room for little gatherings. We had a family christening on Sunday and it was great. Staff are all friendly as is Pete the owner. Thank you ⭐️
My wife and I went after dinner. The pub was the only one that I could find open locally. What a find! They served draught Bass, something, living in the London area, I haven't tasted in years. It was superb. The governor came down and joined the customers. What a character. He should have been a comedian. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Top notch.
The best pint of Bass in the world, probably. Friendly, clean village pub that keeps things simple. Good beer and drinks, clean and pleasant surroundings. Great staff and landlord. Good company.
Nice open fire, the BEST Bass for miles and miles and miles and...well you get the idea. An immensely funny (humorous) landlord. Very friendly pub (also dog friendly if you have a best friend). We are by no means local but the journey is always worth the while.
