Very warm cosy traditional country pub, no jukebox, no fruit machine, real fires etc.
Very welcoming landlady who said that always prepared to open early for groups of walkers etc if arranged in advance. Opened up at 2:45 on Monday for us even though not due to open till 17:00. Must have been the disappointed looks on our face after a days walk!.
Very cosy, friendly pub, good beers and a real fire. The locals are all very chatty, simply a great pub 👍
A proper pub. Good beers, crisps, nuts, etc. Open fire. Dog friendly. People who talk not stare at phones. No cooked food but who cares
Lovely pub in attractive surroundings, a proper local. Great selection of beers and a nice outdoor seating area. A warm welcome from an excellent bartender.
First visit to the Wallace, more than impressed. Lovely out of the way watering hole. Idyllic settling where you can get lost in time and just chill. Good selection of various ales and basically a good selection of everything else. Haven't eaten there yet, but if the food is as good as the welcome,you get, and the way you feel when entering the pub. I need to say nothing else. Top marks once you've been you will not want to leave.
Really nice little local pub with lots different ales. Locals very friendly, dog friendly, has a little beer garden opposite but not nice enough to sit out. The had a real fire burning so sat next to it.
