A fine traditional pub as it should be which hasn't beend spoiled and full of friendly locals plus a good pint of Bass. What more can you ask for? 👍👍👍

This is a proper drinking man's pub ,bar staff are really friendly always a smile and a warm welcome, definitely going again.

On CAMRA's heritage list for its unspoilt three room layout. Long serving landlord who looks after his beer. The Bass is spot on.

Great classic English pub, popped in with the Mrs for a quick pint on a random day out, with us being from the city it was very clear we where dressed completely different to the locals and stood out like sore thumbs, this being said we where made extremely welcome by the landlady and regulars, reminded me of how pubs used to be and should still be, friendly chats and bit of banter, myself and the good wife agreed that the pint served was the best we had had in a long time. Only problem was that we dint have time to stay longer, we have both agreed we will be making a trip here again.
