what a great NYE they had a fab Singer Roxanne who had most people up dancing what an atmosphere Rachael and Julian worked really hard at the bar whilst managing to keep service going. it was non stop for them and still managed to have snacks availible. You had to book your table in advance which we are all glad we did because they had to turn away people who wanted to come in only at the end of the night Want to book for next NYE
Hav'nt been for a couple of years due to the recent events, but now a pale shadow of its former self . Used to be great for a Sunday dinner , we used it regularly. The dinners are not a patch on how they used to be , first time I've left half a plate.
Unfortunately not what the place once was. Not much ambience and a refurbishment that seems to have suffered budget restraints Went for a carvery, my brothers treat for my forthcoming birthday, and received some 'bits' of beef when a fresh roast was on display ready to be cut. Part of the vegetable selection was surprisingly rationed whilst mentioning a decent range of vegetables they were pretty tasteless due to overcooking. £28.00 + for 2 carveries and 2 nice pints of San Miguel. I've been as fair as possible but unfortunately we both agree we won't be going back for a Sunday roast.
Just had my Sunday dinner with my family, fab really enjoyed the afternoon. Will definitely return. Good service and friendly staff xx
Another excellent meal last night at Waggoners, such a meat feast on the megga mixed grill, lovely cosy place but in need of a bit of decoration
