Traditional pub serving good food and fine ales.
Traditional and spacious pub on the high street. Four real ales usually available. Large car park and patio to the rear. Darts in the public bar and pool in the back of the saloon. Bar snacks and traditional pub menu served every day with Sunday roasts. Separate room available for dining.
A modest place with a big soul. Lovely staff and lots going on with sports, live music and other events!
Can't rate the food because I've never eaten here, but music on Fridays, a couple of well kept real ales, and a welcoming atmosphere all making for a good Friday night.
I like the pub, it is local to me so handy to meet friends. Owners always very friendly, nice people and crowd. Good bands play on Fridays and can get very busy. Beer is good and well kept, cannot remember ever having a bad pint. Nice straight forward local village pub! Nothing not to like. Not eaten here so cannot comment on the food.
In the middle of nowhere really, not even a shop nearby not sure who the clientele for the pub is other than the surrounding houses. Mel is a hoot though as long as you're not wearing a hoodie.
Best pub in the Village I can't comment on the food because I only frequent pubs for the Ale and chats with the locals, the selection of beers are good with the Guinness being excellent. Nice clean pub with plenty of atmosphere.
