Hello and Welcome to the ‘The Volly’. We pride ourselves in offering our customers a relaxed enviroment to enjoy a varied selection of draught and bottled beers, lagers & stouts. In recognition of our approach to this, we have been consistently awarded a Gold Best Bar None Award as well as earning the Master Brewer Accreditation from Guinness.
We’re members of The Scotch Whisky Experience and have a fantastic range of whiskies and malts available including Lowland, Highland, Islay, Speyside and Island selections and we’re sure we can find something for every connoisseur. Check our promotions for our ongoing Malt of the Month special offers.
We are open from 11 am Monday to Saturday and 12.30 pm Sunday and along with our cold beverages we also sell Teas and Coffees with complimentary Walkers Shortbread.
We provide entertainment every weekend, see below for details, as well as having local bands and singer nights. One of our regular acts is Saxophone playing Stuart Wilson who is a favourite amongst our customers and he regularly plays to a packed pub so if you see he’s coming to play at The Volly then we suggest you get yourself down to the pub early on those days.
If you’re thinking of having a party or group night out then we’re the ideal place to come to. We have the space to accommodate most large groups and if you ask at the bar we can provide light snacks & sandwiches.

Went in and was greeted by a very pleasant young lady with a big smile. We had a dog with us who was offered a pupachino and water. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!
Lovely lunchtime meal. Vegetable burritto butterfly chicken burger sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cake. Been here numerous times over the last year. Lovely fresh home cooked food. Good portion sizes, made to order, tasty. Great service, Lovely staff and spacious. Never had a disappointing meal yet.

Nice atmosphere to have a lovely strong coffee and relax with friends. Some good food options including small plates and great friendly service.
This was our first visit for food and it was pretty decent. Nothing fancy but a reasonable choice and very good prices. I had the curry which filled a hole. The small scampi was fine but the small fish was just far too small and I couldn't recommend that. I expected a reduced portion but this was a couple of mouthfuls and done. The haggis and mushroom starters were very tasty and the nachos were loved by all. The desserts were all tempting and we chose the waffles with ice cream which were delicious. Overall I would say if you are looking to pop out for a bite to eat at good prices then the Voulenteer Arms Bistro is well worth a visit.
