Formally the Bell inn to which a major refurbishment occurred in 2014,the inside has been stripped back to bare brick and wood. The bar area has high backed stools and plain wooden tables. A raised area to the rear has the same style but with dining chairs. Enclosed garden with more seating.Reopened in May 2015.
Too quality Sunday roast. Large portions. Excellent local ale. Friendly people. Character pub.
Nice place but there were issues with the food. It took them too long to serve us, they ran out of burger buns and they used for bacon and gammon steak the same piece of meat. The prices are not cheap and having this kind of issues it makes it very very expensive. I will not go again and I wouldn't recommend it.
Since changing from 'The Glassblowers' to 'The Vintage Rooms', this place has become a thousand times better... Food is great, staff are friendly, beer is well kept. Ignore all comments before this one!
For the second time service was very slow, however if food is good then it's worth the Waite. Not in this case. Slight attitude from staff when politely asking how long food would be on first visit. Second visit. Started at 1400 for lunch eventually got out At 1700. Not only was service very slow I couldn't eat my lunch. Dry And cold Infact horrible. I sent a polite feed back email.no response. Do not waste your time or money. I would like to add that this was a lunch party of nine people,whome eight had a bad meal No other customers in the premises. Non of our party will be returning. I did not pay for my lunch. Decor nice
Ate here last night after finding it by accident. What can we say. GREAT STAFF GREAT SERVICE AMAZING FOOD..Best place we have eaten at ..we even got the chef a drink to thank him for the great food... highly recommend going here .
