Food arrived nearly an hour after ordering. The roast dinner had little veg but was tasty. We had to pay separately for drinks and each course so we didn't bother with dessert. Disappointed and won't be going again
28-June-23: Sunday lunch with my Sister and I (on fathers day) before her birthday. Absolutely delicious, great happy and fast service despite being very busy... my Sister had the roast beef, and I had three meat roast... no room for dessert. Thoroughly recommend.
Great pub for lunch. Ate there twice. Great, friendly staff. Very efficient. Not too busy Good food especially the BLT's. Chips look fab but are tasteless. Need to change to home made or upgrade to a better, tastier brand of frozen ones. Sensible prices
Not eaten here, but stopped by for a pint or two a fair few times. We live nearer the Woodlands Edge pub, but they don't serve decent cider unfortunately. The Village Inn does. Always a good pint of Aspall here. Good range of drinks. Plenty of parking for those not drinking. Good atmosphere, clean toilets. Bar with big TV's showing sports, pool table and darts. Great lounge and restaurant area.
We went for breakfast, and after the pub being open/closed/open/closed for so long, it was nice to see some normality back and the same high standard of food! The place is a little quieter than it used to be, but that’s expected with the pandemic! The breakfast was banging (I opted for no beans) the service fantastic and the staff friendly and welcoming! Thank you! Can’t wait to come back for food again 🙌🏼
