We had stayed in Holyhead and were looking for somewhere to go for a good 'Traditional Sunday Roast Dinner' Our roast dinner was one of the best we have ever had.The roast lamb,turkey and gammon was beautifully lean and melted in our mouths.The Pub owner/chef and his staff were lovely.Highly recommended.We will definitely be going back when we are next on Anglesey. Didn't eat in here but went in for drinks. We thought it was shut as was in darkness but as we got close the blinds were shut and with the door shut it's silent outside,but inside was busy and a good friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed a couple of drinks here on an evening
We visited a nearby park and wanted a hot meal. We found this lovely pub which usually on a Sunday takes bookings, but they managed to squeeze us in. The food was lovely and the people very warm and friendly. It's worth a visit.
Flavourful food and fast service. I recommended the Ribs and Chips! Dog friendly.
What an amazing find. We stumbled upon this quaint little place on our way back from the Holyhead Marina to our ship at the cruise terminal and decided to stop in for a drink (or two). It was early, so no one else inside, but the owner treated us like royalty. The drinks were awesome and the atmosphere. . . we wanted to stay there all afternoon. We left with a smile and a great memory. Thanks. p.s. can't speak for the food, we only had some bags of chips, but the menu looked amazing.
