Really friendly staff. Room was a bit cold but they provided us with extra blankets which was greatly appreciated. It needs renovating a little but it has a lovely feel to it and is very cheap. Couldn’t ask for more.
Stayed here the beginning of December. Only booked their basic Standard Room which surprisingly was quite large with a nice side view, we could even see glimpses of the sea. Clean, comfortable bed, kettle with teas/coffees and good sized ensuite. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning staircase and high ceilings, yes it's a bit dated and in need of a bit of TLC but we loved it. Staff are friendly and the older gentlemen by the front door so kindly showed us around and told us a bit about the history. Thank you 😀 We were very pleased to find the lift now working. Pool was open till 10pm and was amazing, big enough to have a good swim and surprisingly deep at 8ft. The relaxing jacuzzi is massive and really warm. Sauna was very clean, looks new to me. There was also a steam room. The changing rooms really need updating. Buffet breakfast was fantastic value at £5 each for a help yourself buffet of cereals, yogurt, breads, eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, beans and mushrooms. Selection of teas. Coffee (sorry was terrible).
Stayed for a few days with my dad last week. It may be old fashioned but I enjoyed the charm of the place. Breakfast was basic but had amazing views. The hotel itself and the room was very clean. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and help you with any queries. Would definitely stay again.
This place is great right in the centre of Newquay so shops a stones throw away so's the beach. The staff are fantastic so friendly and helpful. Dogs are greeted with open arms Bella loved it. There's a restaurant and a pub where you get 10% off with your key from your room.
Stayed here in August 2023. I can't rate the Victoria Legacy Hotel enough. During our 6 hour drive I had a power steering failure & had planned a day out before check in, which unfortunately didn't happen! The Victoria Legacy managed to check us in early & helped us with recommended garages to use. The Hotel: Clean, Tidy, & up most friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was the Bomb... all you can eat & fresh! Lift is FULLY WORKING & DEFINITELY FANCY! Back to the car situation: found a garage, Tow Truck came, car was to low... asked at reception for help & out popped a lovely member of staff with blocks of wood, problem solved! Pool is clean & refreshing Yes the hotel is old, but its definitely clean. I love the quirkiness of its age... Booked again for next year.
